Item Description
1-3/8" tall embossed Maltese cross design brass shell frame is identical to Hake # 3901 although on this example the Cleveland photo has him facing left rather than right. The example in Hake is shown without any hanger. This example does have a spread-wing embossed brass eagle hanger with a reverse pin although this is likely a replacement for the original (although of this same era). Small luster loss off lower part of frame but still Fine and with exceptionally clean photos. A rare shell badge even with a replaced hanger. Morry Greener Collection.
