Embossed brass pin 1-1/8" wide designed as the Republican elephant party symbol. The elephant's red blanket is actually a hinged brass covering with a tiny tab along the bottom edge. When this is pulled down the brass covering flies upwards revealing photos of McKinley and Hobart. Very tiniest traces of age on the photos and tiny minor tarnish on the brass but an extremely clean example overall with perfect mechanical action. Reverse has horizontal bar pin.
