Item Description
8x10" b/w glossy promotional photo c. 1959. Photo is by Bruno of Hollywood and has text at bottom including "Frankie Ford Ace Records General Artists Corporation." Great image of Ford with nice blue ballpoint pen signature near bottom. Photo has a few barely noticeable tiny creases just visible in reflective light, otherwise Exc. Frankie Ford had his biggest hit with "Sea Cruise" which peaked at no. 14 on the Billboard charts in 1959. The song has been used in TV commercials as well as film sound tracks. Ford appears as himself in the 1978 Alan Freed biopic "American Hot Wax".
