Item Description
Sizes range from 7/8" up to 1.5" and there are 17 different designs plus four duplicates. Metals include brass, silvered brass, aluminum and a pair of NRA tokens which are fiberboard with plastic surfaces. The group includes top to bottom and left to right: (1) Republican Depression Coin (highly concave - that is - depressed) showing Hoover 1928 voter with empty pockets and pledge "1932 We Vote For Roosevelt"; (2) "New Deal" uniface; (3-4) Two sizes of jugate 1936 "Lucky Coin"; (5-6) Two sizes of "Lucky Tillicum" (Till I Come); (7) Inaugural 1933 with Hebrew text and Star of David; (8) Inaugural uniface "Pawtucket Roosevelt Day"; (9) Inaug. "Good For One Glass Prima Beer"; (10-12) Inaug. Good For $2.50 On $25 spent at May Stern St. Louis store (1+2 dupes); (13-16) Two sizes with two dupes "Onward America" with NRA reverse; (17-18) Two colors, same as 13-16 but plastic coated; (19) Democratic Victory Souvenir 1936 also noting change in Inaug. date from March to Jan. 20, 1937; (20-21) Inaug. "Prosperity Token" for 1937 (two different metals). An Exc. group of vintage tokens with the vast majority VF to Mint.
