Item Description
Each of these is a standard design about 2" tall and all are with complete unused matches. The pack largely in blue reads on reverse "Let's Go Buffalo - Be Progressive - Vote Democratic." Small stain by reverse staple. The yellow pack reading "Vote Democratic" on the front has blue tone portrait of FDR on the reverse. The rwb pack promotes senator candidate "James M. Slattery" while reverse pictures FDR in blue tone and reads "Roosevelt And Humanity." Tiny .25" tear on reverse bottom. The fourth pack shows FDR with his facsimile signature and the reverse shows the U.S. Capitol. This one seems to be from the mid-'40 while the others are c. 1940 or earlier. All are scarce.
