Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
Hake #64. Among the nicest Truman designs with deep rich rwb colors accented by bright gold wreath. This example has back stamp of pioneering campaign item dealer Samuel Hoffman who as early as the 1940s ran a memorabilia business out of the "Gladstone Hotel" in Philadelphia. In addition to his business stamp there is a small stain from an old price tag on the cardboard back but that is the only flaw on this otherwise N. Mint example which displays fully Mint.
