Item Description
The smallest button at upper right is 1.25" while other four celluloid buttons are 1.75". The ribbons range between 5" and 6.5". A few brief comments on each, left to right and top to bottom. First is "The Man Of The Hour" with elephant charm. Next is "Peace And Prosperity" with unusual "I Am Here To Stay" plastic charm which has Capitol on its reverse. Third is "Citizens Committee" ribbon on "Vote Ike" scarce button. Small brown mark near bottom. Fourth is "President Eisenhower" with rare ribbon for "Pull Second Lever" 1956. Fifth is brown tone photo which suspends portrait ribbon as well as a 1953 inaugural medallion. Sixth is unusual fabric with bar pin suspending large clear plastic disc with his name in bold gold lettering. Seventh is 1952 GOP convention badge bearing title "Telephone Messenger." Eighth is "Republican Worker" ribbon with safety pin fastener. Ninth is "Sergeant At Arms" convention ribbon with tape stain at top. Tenth is similar "Convention Committee" ribbon also with lighter tape stain at top. A nice group with quite a few uncommon items.
