Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
This 2-9/16" button is an actual photograph without dot pattern which has over-printed white text "I'm For Carter-Mondale." The photograph was taken in the Blue Room of the White House with the Washington Clock clearly visible on the mantle behind them. (Our thanks to APIC President Chris Hearn for the information.) Pictured are Carter at right, Rosalind at center and third man at left who we cannot identify. Across Rosalind's white dress are two very faint lines of pinpoint tan dots, showing but very little. The rest of the piece just has some lt. surface wear in reflected light and tiny bit of air under the cello. There are no markings on the curl or the metal reverse which has horizontal bar pin. Only example we've seen.
