Item Description
Buttons range from 1" to 3". First three relate to Al Gore's father's Senate campaign. Two are lithos while the third is a flasher with small cracking at center. Al Gore Jr's buttons begin with one dated for 1982 issued for a participant at the "1,000 Open Meeting." Three other buttons carry 1984 date followed by three with 1987 dates including one titled "Presidential Announcements." The rest of the buttons relate to his 1988 hopeful campaign as well as his 1992 hopeful campaign. Several reference 1994 on the theory that Clinton would be impeached and Gore would take over. In all there are 87 items. Vast majority are N. Mint to Mint. An outstanding in-depth collection.
