Item Description
This large size button has both bar pin and unused cardboard easel on the reverse. The back is marked in ink "24/25" and was produced by Mitch Kuhn. Button portrays Bill and Hillary Clinton as if they are the farmer standing beside his spinster daughter as portrayed by American painter Grant Wood in his 1930 painting titled American Gothic. Wood's painting is one of the most familiar of 20th century American art and is also one of the most parodied artworks in American popular culture as this design attests. Exc. and displays Mint.
