Item Description
1.25" with worn but complete and readable W&H paper. Button has great design of eagle with quoted words showing on a blue ribbon in his beak and across a serpent held in his talons. At center is photo with text above "For Congress/John E. Gill." He was a 1904 candidate from the Pennsylvania 28th District. Button has some surface dirt now removed so it looks crisper than our photo although there is trivial light stain on a narrow band from top center to 3 o'clock. Also see rare 1888 Prohibition Party jugate ribbon #122.
