Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
Smallest item in the group is a 7/8" 1930s litho reading "Vote Socialist/Demand Unemployment Insurance." Two tiny paint rubs on top edge but clean and VF. The other buttons date from 1968 into the 1970s and most of these include the name or initials of the Socialist Workers Party. These range in size from 1.25" to 1.75". The two buttons in the bottom row are each 2.25" with one reading "No Draft/Young Socialists For Pulley & Zimmerman." The other showing the famous horrific photo of naked Vietnamese children burnt by napalm is 2.25" with text "No Draft! Class War Not Imperialist War! Revolutionary Socialist League." Some very light wear in reflected light but this is likely the rarest button of the group. A small black speck over the one word was dirt now removed. This button also includes a paper sticker on the reverse with the name and address of the group. Vast majority are Exc. to Mint.
