Item Description
Excellent group of buttons, badges, metals and pins mostly ranging from the 1940's through the 1990's. Group starts off with 1937 members card in the "Textile Workers Organizing Committee." Next is 3" brass medal with one side commemorating the 50th anniversary (in 1964) of the "First Union Health Center In The United States." Reverse of this medal reads "On November 20, 1963/President John F. Kennedy/Signed The Act Of The/U.S. Congress/Authorizing This Medal/To Commemorate The Establishment By The/International Ladies'/Garment Workers' Union/Of The/First Union Health Center/In This Nation." Other items include "Guest" and "Delegate" convention badges the earliest from 1940 and the others ranging from 1959 through 1986. Only item with some obvious age is the 1992 button with the union endorsing "Bill Clinton For President." This has a few light tan spots but vast majority of the items display Exc. to Mint. A great in-depth collection.
