Item Description
13" tall by Ideal Novelty & Toys Co. 1940. Movable head and upper body are composition while rest of body is wood and jointed. Cape is original. Surface paint on neck has been professionally restored. While the face retains its original layer of thin composition, that has had some tiny areas of touch-up. Face also has a few scattered areas of crazing but these appear stabilized. Small chip on Superman chest decal edge. 60% of belt decal remains including most area with text. Overall Fine and displays well. A classic.
