Item Description
1.5". This anti-establishment, youth oriented party was conceptualized Dec. 31, 1967 in the apartment of Abbie Hoffman and its founders included his wife along with activists Jerry Rubin and Paul Krassner. This button reads "Vote Pig In '68" and references an actual pig (Pigasus the Immortal) which they ran as their party's presidential candidate. Also see "Yippie" item #506. Morry Greener Collection.
