Item Description
5-3/8" dia. glazed ceramic made by Elsmore & Forrester Potteries Tunstall, Staffordshire England. Plate is beautifully hand painted and has image with five boys with two playing marbles in circle. Rim of plate has alphabet type going around the perimeter with a sawtooth outer rim edge. One tiny rim chip. Typical trace of aging/crazing to glaze but glossy and with bold image area. Fine. Historic marble-related image. Great for display.
