Item Description
16 different boxes comprise 35 different models. ©1947 General Mills Inc. Each is a complete 11 5/8x18.5" flattened box printed on both sides with all panels and flaps. Includes cutout piece on back panel and different cutout piece on inside which also includes assembly instructions. Inside boxes are quite elaborate and seven include “Red Ball” game, eight feature sequential comic strip story, and one has large Lumber Yard to cut out. Back panel cut-outs include Diesel Switcher, Red Train Boom Car, Refrigerator Car, Pennsylvania Electric Engine Stream-liner. Scattered lt. wear with some aging but overall group is Fine/VF. Very extensive and difficult set to complete.
