11.5x13.25" illustrated mailing envelope addressed to Joe Gura in Chicago contains complete assembled premium issued by Quaker Cereals, 1941. Front of envelope features illustrations of Captain Sparks and Orphan Annie as well as boy and girl behind cockpit premium. Back has detailed assembly instructions plus order form on flaps. Some lt. dust soiling and lt. creasing. Fine. Includes stiff paper simulated wood grain punch-out assembly parts including instrument panel, throttle lever, control stick, dial needles, and rudder pedals. Pieces have a few lt. creases and bit of edge wear but overall group is Fine. Comes with 5x7.5" “How to Fly By Captain Sparks” 16 page booklet of illustrated instructions for premium. Back cover has illustration of Annie and Captain Sparks in their “Quaker Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice Sparkies” aircraft. Stiff paper book has lt. age curl, otherwise bright and Exc. Nice group.
