Hake’s "Official Price Guide to Pop Culture Memorabilia" book entry on Page 611 #169 actual balsa plane matches illustrations on instruction sheet with this plane. .75x2.5x9" wide thin cardboard box with mailing label from “The Quaker Oats Company” addressed to Joe Gura has nice illustration at left showing Wright Brothers plane flying and reverse side shows art image of actual 1940s Volt plane by Wright. Box has trace of lt. dust soil. VF. Contains illustrated instruction sheet which is folded as mailed otherwise VF. Balsa wood plane is 8" long with 14.5" wide wing span. Plane has slight dust soil and rubber bands have hardened and broken with age and nose of plane has color rubs. Overall still Fine appearance. This example says “Wright Pursuit”plus “SG” in circle logo on each wing unlike example shown in our book which does not have this text or insignia.
