Auction #202 - Part II
Item numbers 1554 through 3213 in auction 202
Item Description
1930s Japan, no maker's mark. 3x3x4" tall with design of brick house with coin slot in roof. Windows have art images of pig, raccoon, and bear along with donkey coming out of front door looking at birds feeding on ground. Unusual configuration to base. When bank is held upside down, panel slides out revealing recessed area which has trap and key inside. Neat design. Scattered lt. wear with tiny dots of missing color, mostly on roof area. Fine overall. Great for display.
