3.5x4.5" stiff green cardboard card with top designating "No.130." with text " Official Pass/Hauptmann Trial,/Flemington, N.J./Saturday, January 12, 1935." The pass itself is blank with no inked information but includes the printed name "John H. Curtiss/Sheriff Of Hunterdon County." Known as the Trial of the Century, the event began January 2, 1935 and Bruno Hauptmann was convicted and sentenced to death on February 14, 1935. Card has tiniest bit of color off the corner tips, a slight pair of hairline ripples in the paper at the top and a pinpoint nick on the right edge. The card is extremely clean and displays Extremely Fine. Rare.
