Item Description
1.25" with backpaper which has small W&H maker's information below larger text reading "In Memoriam/Merrimac St. Fire, Feb. 5th, 1898." Small trace of age tone on the button paper. Front depicts the six firemen along with their names and ranks who died in a bedding factory fire in the West End. Five of the men were from Station Engine 38. Only the second we've seen. Exc. and displays Mint.
