Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
3.5" with black cardboard reverse and circular sticker of maker "Phila. Badge Co." Cardboard back once held rwb ribbon with hanger but only a few fabric threads remain of the ribbon and there is no pin on the reverse. Condition is otherwise essentially Mint with a wonderful photo of two horses hitched to a large wagon with driver holding the reins and wearing a white hat. A large fire extinguisher is easily visible along with ladders. Under magnification the words "Fire Co" can be read on the wagon's side but no city name. We estimate the age as c. 1908. Only example we've seen.
