Item Description
High quality dolls, each in matching size of about 17" to tops of their hats. Larger size series from the Happy doll offered as previous item #2544. From 1938. Each has stuffed velveteen body with felt accents including belts and glasses on Doc. Oil cloth faces with painted features and life-like beards. Metal buckles. Names printed on hats. Included is one original die-cut cardboard tag in the shape of Snow White along with images of the dwarfs. Reverse text promotes Knickerbocker dolls and mentions Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Creases including one with surface paper break across Snow's face. VG and scarce. Typical but very slight aging/slightest color fade to velveteen. Doc and Sneezy have minor trace of wear on faces. Overall each is still in exceptional condition and all remain bright and clean. VF to Exc. and rarely found this nice. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
