Item Description
6.5x9". Two-sided application for "Membership In The American Federation Of Television And Radio Artists/Los Angeles Local." Filled out and signed in ink by Thundercloud. It appears that although Chief Thundercloud had worked over 15 years as Tonto, he was not a member of the federation. After passage of the Taft-Hartley Act in 1947, membership was required. Interesting to note that no payment or initiation fees were charged to him. The space for the dollar amount reads "TH." The notation at the bottom margin reads "Taft Hartley." Unique and historic. VF. Comes with Hake's COA.
