First is gorgeous 1.25" advertising drink product "Cherry Smash." This has W&H paper c. 1915. Second is rare and full color Washington portrait on gold with upper accent of eagle with American flag in its beak as if he is lifting it to reveal the portrait. 1.25" button has Baltimore Badge backpaper and is set in a wider brass rope frame held by four tabs on reverse. Exc. Last is 2.25" real photo button without dot pattern with backpaper by Schlecter c. 1915. Small speck off the paper but most remaining. Front shows "West View Of Washington's Headquarters Valley Forge, Penna." Incredible detail right down to the individual stones of the building with a woman in a white dress standing in the front doorway and a cannon in the foreground. Exc. and displays Mint. Only example we've seen of this.
