Item Description
1.25" with W&H paper used only 1900-1912. Number of tiny tan dots on the reverse by the collet but the front displays totally clean with exception of single pinpoint dot at top barely noticeable. Pictured seated on a bench is a shoe maker laboriously working on a shoe with others strewn around the floor of his workshop. The text reads "Cobblers Enemy." Although we cannot remember the precise city, likely either Lynn or Brockton, the meaning of this button was clear on another example we've seen which contained on a pair of ribbons which the spring pin held printing relating to the mass production of shoes in that particular city. A rare button issued for an event which lasted just a day or two.
