Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
This outstanding piece is 1-7/8" long by 1-3/8" tall with the jadeite 5/16" thick at the top. The stone is shaped and craved to represent a military hat. Mounted at top front center is a silver U.S. Army officer's crest. The hat is very much a replica of the one being worn by MacArthur on our previous item. The back of this piece has a silver plate with four prongs which fasten it to the jadeite. There is a bar pin. The metal is stamped "Made In Mexico/Sterling." Trivial bend on the bar pin causing no problem. All else is essentially Mint as made. Rare.
