Item Description
1.25" with very minor oxidation on reverse. This is only the second example we've seen of this and the example from the Hake Collection exceeded $500.00. This 1.25" real photo without dot pattern shows him in top hat with determined expression on his face. Artistically a pair of large hands with exceptionally large turned-up thumbs have been added at the left and right flanking his photo. Text below the image is "There'll Always Be An England." Text around the button's edge reads "Thumbs-Up! We're Going To Win/With Our Churchill Guts And Grin." Curl text reads "Copyright By The Wellings Mfg. Co. Of Toronto." Celluloid is essentially Mint. Among the best and rarest of all WWII buttons.
