Item Description
This is the rarest of all Disney recordings and was issued in 1934 by RCA Victor Records. Each two-sided 78 rpm picture disc is 7" dia. Originally issued in individual sleeves with an outer sleeve to hold the set, but none of the sleeves are included. However, this is the complete set of three different discs in this set. The records are #224 Who's Afraid of The Big Bad Wolf? Parts 1 and 2, #225 In A Silly Symphony/Mickey Mouse And Minnie's In Town, #226 Lullaby Land of Nowhere/Dance of The Bogey Men. Each side features choice artwork related to that specific song. #224 has minor trace of surface wear, really only visible in reflected light. Graded as Exc. for display and VG+ using record grading standards. #225 has 1/8" outer rim edge chip on each side, "Symphony" side also has .5" edge surface split that will affect first few rotations of play. Other lt. surface wear. Visually VF, record graded as Good. #226 has .25" outer rim chip affecting both sides. Again, visually VF but record graded as Good. Noted defects aside, this is still an exceptionally rare and desirable item for both collectors of Disneyana and records. A truly outstanding record set which is rarely seen. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
