Item Description
Lot of 2 uncut thin cardboard sheets. Menko is a Japanese card game played by two or more players. It is also the name of the type of cards used to play this game. First is 4-7/8x10.25". 12 card sheet. Front color images are of Samurai Warriors. Back features animal characters including eight which are Disney, but without any Disney name or ©. These are of Pluto, the Three Little Pigs, Max Hare, Orphan Kitten (2), Abner mouse from "The Country Cousin". c. 1936. Moderate margin wear w/some lt. creasing. Back top right card has 1" spot of surface paper loss. Tip off one top corner. Both sides remain clean. VG. Second is 3.5x10.5". Eight card sheet c.1939. Both sides feature Tarzan. Front color images are based on the Johnny Weissmuller film "Tarzan Finds A Son" and feature Tarzan, Jane and Boy. Backs have repeated classic "Tarzan Yell" pose of him with Cheetah. Minor margin/corner tip wear. Clean and Exc./N.Mint. Neat pair.
