Item Description
Lot of two from same series as previous item #2977. Each is a 3.5x5" card complete with cut/applied bread label pictures. Die-cut design w/folds at center as issued so card could be folded to "Flip" the label pictures. This allows you to see the set-up and unfortunate completion of the boy's unsafe activity. Card fronts have expanded art specific to each pair of label images w/matching set number on reverses. These are 13A/B (same as previous lot) and 14A/B showing boy playing with matches and getting severely burned. Card reverses have text including "Safety Club Pledge Card" on one and "National Safety Council Bulletin" on the other. #14 card has splits along center perforations w/clear tape reinforcement on reverse. Both has lt. aging. Fine/VF. Scarce. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
