Item Description
Lot of three items. For 1950s series of 32 different bread end labels featuring safety tips as presented by Jiminy. First item is 6x10" paper store shelf sign. Depicts Jiminy promoting this series as issued by "Millbrook Bread/NBC Bread." Wear along left edge with lt. creases and a few small tears. Still bright w/great color. Fine. The labels in the series featured two designs per set number, "A/B" as used with the flip cards. "B" images are boy in carefree/reckless setting, "A" shows the unfortunate results of that situation. The two complete labels (not trimmed) in this lot are #13 A/B with boy wrecking his bike into a tree, text reads "Whee No Hands/Whop No Nose." "A" label is N.Mint, "B" has aging and lt. creases. Fine. All is scarce. From the Bruce Cervon Collection.
