Item Description
This large and scarce ring from the early 1950's has its original battery which is inactive but is intended to cause Howdy's high relief plastic face to light. Brass finish on the base is clean and Clarabell is easily seen depicted on each side. The contact wire for the battery is present and Howdy's high relief plastic head has just slight loss of blue eye color accents. The brass loop holding the battery carries the ring maker's name "Brownie Mfg. Co." A very scarce ring complete as issued although more frequently seen as incomplete examples as the result of a warehouse fined several decades ago. See the following related and extremely rare Clarabell ring.
