Item Description
1.25" without maker's name issued slightly after his 1939 debut appearance on the cover and in the first story of Blue Ribbon Comic #1 (Nov., 1939) which was the first title published by MLJ Comics. The writers apparently named their canine hero as they did in the hopes of riding the coattails of the popular Rin-Tin-Tin. Rang lasted 22 issues and folded March, 1942. Only the third example we've seen. Rare and essentially Mint.
