4x5.5" mailing envelope from General Mills with text "Here's Your Weather Ring!" Small gray mark on bottom edge of envelope, some very tiny tan spotting on right side and reverse flap has a vertical tear but remains complete. Next is 3.5x11" fold-over stiff cardboard used both to protect the ring in mailing and to carry the instructions, mostly a warning to take the ring off the finger before washing the hands. Cardboard has 1x2.5" gray stain but its otherwise clean. Third is the ring itself with adjustable brass band and a beveled plastic top covering a piece of litmus paper designed to change color although no longer active. Whatever stained the envelope and card also took a good bit of the brass luster off the ring base with about 30% of this a dark brown while the remaining 70% has luster. The plastic top of the ring remains unaffected. The rare parts of this item are the envelope and mailer which we've seen probably just twice in the past. From the Joe Gura Premium Collection.
