Item Description
This is one of the rarest Buck Rogers premiums first issued by Cream of Wheat, 1936. That version had "Wilma" on front panel and her signature on reverse. This is the equally rare newspaper premium offered 1940-1942 without her name and signature. The piece is brass 1" dia. with a top loop. The reverse reads "To My Pal In The Solar Scouts." Not only is this a superb Mint as issued example of the pendant but it is complete with the original chain as issued. The Buck Rogers 1936 manual mentions the pendant's star and crescent design flanking Wilma's portrait represent the good luck symbol of the Solar Scouts. Our last example of this same version, almost as nice, exceeded $1000.00.
