Item Description
This copy is recognized to be part of the D Copy collection. This issue contains the origin and the first appearance of Namora. In the later part of the forties, Timely experimented with a few major female superheroes and Namora was among the best. She looks absolutely regal as she flies from the water. The Human Torch and the Sub-Mariner can only look on in amazement. This issue also contains a Captain America and Young Allies story. Some interior art is handled by Syd Shores. The pages are cream to off-white. The book is CGC-certified 8.5 (VF+). According to the CGC census, this copy is tied with two others as the third highest graded copy they have seen.
