Item Description
Each is paper in sizes ranging from 12x20" to 13x20". Three are for "Gino's" restaurant chain. Two feature image of him running in uniform with facsimile signature. One has art image of Colonel Sanders and restaurant sign incorporating bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken while the other just has text for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Both have lt. folds, one has original owner's name in ink in proper place at right side with additional folds. One is Good, one is VG. Third Gino book cover is unused and VF. Marchetti played 13 seasons with the Colts and helped them win NFL championships in 1958 and '59. He was voted the greatest defensive end in pro football history as selected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1969. Marchetti along with teammates opened his first fast food restaurant in 1959 and eventually had 313 company-owned locations when they were sold to Marriott in 1982 and the name changed to Roy Rogers restaurants. The fourth book cover was issued by "Hauswald's Roman Meal Bread" and features nice photos of Buddy Young who played for the Colts from 1953 to 1955 and Zollie Toth who only played in the 1954 season. Center has fold but otherwise unused and VF. Nice graphics.
