Item Description
9x11.75x6" tall slant-front/glass-topped tin litho store display mounted on wood base. 11" tall when hinged display sign is up. c. 1920s. Repeat image/text on both sides "Danger Lurks In Darkness/Is Your Flashlight In Order?" Glass top on display front allows viewing of products. Back of display top sign with text explaining "Eveready Mazda Flashlight Lamp Guide/Showing Right Lamp For Eveready Cases." Top back side is hinged for easy access to product area. Back has tin handle attached to 1.25" deep hold drawer to hold flashlight bulbs, 33 original bulbs included. Clips on back top likely held price sheet. Scattered paint chips, general wear from use but does not detract from bright color and detailed graphics. Well-made/great design. Fine.
