Item Description
1960's. Made by L.C. Toy Division Syracuse, NY. 25" tall die-cut card holds hard spongy baseball with "Mickey Mantle" facsimile signature that is attached to a rope that is affixed to a 22" long red stick. The ball is twirled by a person holding the stick the batter can swing at it, attempting to make contact. Mantle's photo is on the rules sheet and his name is on the paper label on the pitching stick. We are unsure how this product was packaged, possibly shrink wrapped or as is with label stapled to card. Ball has hardened and has several flattened areas. Original card shows heavy wear at one end. VG. Stick with original ropes and rules sheet are VG. Interesting store item for "The Mick".
