Item Description
Dick Sprang always gave the readers an athletic, good-looking cover. This time he knocks on the door of slapstick. As Robin hangs back on the front of the train, Batman executes a perfect leap and causes one crook to fall as the other is hit skyward by the handle of the railcar. The look on the faces of the crooks as they take their punishment is perfect. DC always mentioned support for the war effort, especially on their covers; this one headlines a plea to back the 6th War Loan. The pages are white. The book is CGC-certified 8.0. (VF).
