1946. Complete set of eight lobby cards, each 11x14" for feature film produced by "Royal Gospel". An all African-American cast "Race" film about evil and redemption based on a successful NY play. Each card has scroll caption "A Fight With The Devil! The Devil Promised Her Beautiful Clothes And Jewels - The Good Man Showed Her The Way To Happiness - What Did She Accept?" Film included an extraordinary ascension scene involving miles high ladders. A few cards have barely noticeable tiny corner tip creases, o/w set is VF/Exc. Complete with original issue envelope which is VG. Interesting group.
