Item Description
11.25x14" spiral bound with textured stiff paper covers for 1944 film which co-starred Gene Kelly. Contains 28 slick paper pages, three of which are foldouts showing national magazine campaign promotions. Interesting to note each ad for the movie in a specific magazine:Cosmopolitan, American Home, Look, Liberty, etc. went into details of that magazine's cover girl image. First fold-out is wonderful full color showing Hayworth dancing in high heels. Covers have some dust soil and lt. aging and lower left of front cover has 1.5" split at margin edge. Blank inside cover and first two pages have a few lt. moisture marks at blank margin edge. Overall cover is Good/VF, inside is Fine/Very Fine. Storyline for musical has Hayworth winning a contest and becoming a celebrated cover girl endangering her romance with dancing mentor Gene Kelly. A superb promo book for original release.
