c. 1945. 14x20" linen mounted with classic art image of Uncle Sam rolling up his sleeves and holding large wrench ready to fight. Large text across bottom "Buy Extra Bonds". Poster includes Iwo Jima flag image on "The Mighty 7th War Loan" logo. No.PC-X-12-RPB, issued the day after VE Day. Poster is by noted illustrator James Montgomery Flagg and he used himself for the model of Uncle Sam. Exc./NM appearance. A classic.
