Item Description
This classic cover was created by Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson. The image of the two heroes running towards the reader is striking in its simplicity and directness. It is a masterstroke of design. This issue marks the third appearance of the Catwoman and also the first time that she appears in costume. This is also considered to be the first appearance of a costumed villainess in comics. The book is also noteworthy for the first appearance of the Puppet Master. Writers on this issue of Batman include Bill Finger, Norman Goss, Henry Boltinoff, Stan Aschmeier, and Whitney Ellsworth. Those who worked on pencils and inks include Bob Kane, George Papp, Jack Burnley, George Roussos and Fred West. The book is 68 pages big. Those pages are cream to off-white. The book is CGC-certified 4.0 (VG).
