Item Description
14x19-1/4" stiff paper sign for premium "Humming Rocketship" w/no reference to Buck Rogers but very similar to his Muffets Whistling Rocketship premium from 1939. Rocket was available w/two packages of Muffets Whole Wheat Biscuits. Sign features great art of young boy and girl playing w/rocket which is prominently featured at top center. Has original fold lines, lt. scattered trace of dust soiling but still bright and great color. VF. 8-1/2x11" four-page stiff paper folder for same premium advertised on sign. Illustration on front includes generic rockets w/text "Now...Quaker Brings You A Sensational Sure-Fire Gift Deal Promotion To Sky-Rocket Muffets Sales!" Inside includes nice large illustration of the rocketship as well as a counter display box. Back cover pictures the sign plus example ads. Folder has st. trace of dust soiling, extreme bottom edge has 1/4" sliver nick. Exc. Both items are rare.
