Item Description
Artist Jack Burnley continues the string of exceptional early Batman covers with this striking spotlighted image of the Dynamic Duo. They are obviously trapped and it is not exactly clear whether they are trapped by a villain or the authorities. The cover reminds the readers that, no matter how heroic he is, Batman is still an outlaw. This issue also contains the very first Batman Christmas story. In addition, there is also a great Joker story. Writers who worked on this issue include Bill Finger and Henry Boltinoff. Among those contributing pencils and inks are Bob Kane, Henry Boltinoff, George Roussos, and Eric Carter. The pages are cream to off-white. The book is CGC-certified 4.0 (VG).
