Item Description
During war-time, comics supplied support any way possible. This Jerry Robinson cover does not refer directly to the war, but it still makes Batman’s support very clear. He could conceivably be dropping in on a prison or a criminal’s hideout, but given the period, those scenarios are doubtful. Batman will go anywhere in order to deal with crime of every nature. This issue also contains an appearance by Jerry Siegel, Superman’s creator, inside a Batman story. The Joker is also back again to tangle with Batman. This issue features a story by Bill Finger and art by George Roussos and Jack Burnley. Jerry Robinson also contributes interior art. The pages are off-white to white. The book is CGC-certified 6.5 (FN+).
