Item Description
6.25x8.5" sheet printed in conjunction with "Horlick's Malted Milk Corp", this advertisement features art image of Superman jumping over his logo. Ad is for Mar. 4, 1947 debut of the Superman radio show on Chicago area radio station WGN. Sheet is evenly tanned and has a vertical and horizontal fold through center and .25" piece pulled loose at bottom edge. Sheet has been mounted to art board which also has reprint article on Clayton "Bud" Collyer, the radio voice of Superman with photo showing him at Mutual microphone with large Superman painting in bkg. Ad displays VG as mounted. An historic Superman radio piece and just the second we've seen in our 45 years. From the Joe Gura Premium Collection.
